There are all the bad guys who are creating chaos in the city and penguin comes to take over the lead. Who could have ever imagined that we would get to see penguin series? Yes, correct penguin series will be a crime drama series were we would see Oswald aka The Penguin in action.
The Penguin series is created and written by Lauren LeFranc and it is produced by 6th & Idaho, DC Studios and Dylan Clark Productions. As, Penguin series is a crime drama series and it’s a spin off from the film Batman 2022 that will explore the rise in power of the Penguin in Gotham city’s criminal underworld.
Colin Farrell will play the character of Penguin and his name in the penguin series will be Oswald or “Oz” Cobblepot. Oswald is a crime lord and also the former chief lieutenant of the late crime boss Carmine Falcone who is on his own way to become criminal kingpin.
The penguin series will explore the character i.e. Oswald’s strength, awkwardness and his villain mind. Also, penguin series will tell us about Oswald’s heartbreak that he has gone through. We will also see the crime boss Carmine Falcone’s daughter Sofia Falcone, the role is played by Cristin Milioti, who fights to gain the control of Gotham city’s criminal underworld after the death of her father against Cobblepot i.e. the penguin.

In an interview, Matt Reeves, the director of The Batman(2022) has informed that the penguin series will continue the ending of The Batman(2022) that will directly lead to The Batman part-2.
If we all remember at the end of The Batman(2022) Gotham city is left with flood all around the city by the grand plan of Riddler, which result in many areas submerged in water. This leads the city damaged which as a result the city needs restoration and retribution.
After the death of Crime boss Carmine Falcone, the top spot for crime in Gotham City is vacant and at the ending of Batman(2022) we can see Oswald Cobblepot seeing the morning sunrise which provides him the vision of the new empire infront of his eyes.
The penguine series will focus mainly on the life of Oswald Cobblepot in the streets of the Gotham city. It will show how as a villian he struggles to make his make his name on the top of the crime world.

The release date of the Penguin series is not announced officially yet but it is will release somewhere in 2024 only on HBO Max.
