From playing video games to a live-action Series Good news for all the God of War fans as God of War Live action Series is in production by Amazon Prime. Sony PlayStation and Sony Television have confirmed that there will be a live-action God of War Series.
God of War Live action series will be based on the 2018 God of War game which was developed by Santa Monica Studio and directed by Cory Barlog for Play Station 4. God of War is loosely inspired by Norse mythology with the majority set in ancient Scandinavia in the realm of Midgard.
The game story is based on Kratos who is the former Greek God of War along with his young son, Atreus. After the death of Kratos’ second wife and Atreus’s mother, Faye, they two set on a journey to fulfill her request that her ashes be spread at the highest peak of the nine realms.
Who will be playing the role of Kratos?
This question haunts the minds of many fans as to who will play the role of Kratos in the Epic God of War Live Action Series. Well, many say that Dwyane Johnson aka The Rock is suitable for playing Kratos as he is the best fit for the role.
But this still needs to be confirmed meanwhile Dave Batista whom we know from Guardians of the Galaxy movies is also interested in playing the role of Kratos. But, Dave would not fit the role as he has less resemblance to Kratos.
Many fans want to see Jason Mamoa as he has a resemblance to Kratos and will be a perfect fit for playing the role. Also, we have Tom Hardy on the list to try to play the role of Kratos in the Epic God of War Live Action Series.

Although, the storyline has not been confirmed yet there has to be some resemblance with the game. We might have seen similar game-based movies like Uncharted and Last of Us which have gathered positive reviews from the game fans as well as from other viewers.
Vernon Sanders, Amazon Studios’ Head of Television, didn’t say anything about the live-action God of War storyline but he gave positive news that the God of War live-action series will be faithful to the video game.
