Why is solo leveling so popular ?

When it comes to anime we can recall some of the best anime that we have watched or seen let it be storywise or animation-wise are Naruto, One Piece, Demon Slayer, Spy x Family, Attack on Titans, and Black Clover.

Now, some might say that these are not the best anime that are available there, well that’s my own opinion and I’m not going to judge anyone. Anyways, these anime have so many watch hours because the viewers have loved their story or their animation.

The reason might be one of the two however there are also some popular manhwa that we may have heard of. Some of which we can name are Solo Leveling, Tower of God, Cheese in the Trap, Bastard, Omniscient Reader, Eleceed, and many more.

When it comes to best manhwa you will find Solo Leveling in the Top 10 Bucket List of Best Manhwa. After watching the first Episode of Solo Leveling many viewers became fans because of the wholesome storyline that the anime contains.

Well, the story is set in Korea where we see chaos created by some monsters coming from a mysterious portal that appears anywhere inside the country. These portals when left open for 7 days let the monsters come out and destroy that place.

The country’s military power is useless in front of these monsters hence we have hunters who take care of the monsters. These hunters have superpowers that help them fight the monsters and also support their families by earning some money.

Now, some hunters hold different ranks based on their ability to defeat different levels of monsters. The monsters who appear from portals have different levels of power hence the hunter who is A or S ranked can defeat these powerful monsters.

Sung Jin-woo is our protagonist and he is an E-ranked hunter who falls in the category of lowest level of hunters. Initially, he doesn’t possess any skills to fight the monsters due to which he can’t even defeat the lowest level monster.

But after possessing some powers he was able to level up as a high-rank hunter who could easily defeat the high-level monsters which is why the term Solo Leveling means Only I Level Up which our hero sets a great example in this manhwa.

The rising popularity of Solo Leveling is due to its unique storytelling which captures the viewer’s attention and makes them hooked in the story. Also, the creator of Solo Leveling has put a unique twist in the story which many viewers like.
