Squid Game Season 2 Release Date and What can we expect from the sequel?
Squid Game is a South Korean survival series which is written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk and it was premiered on Netflix in 2021. Now, we are all excited for Squid Game Season 2 which will be another death match game with all new games and characters.
The first Season of Squid Game was a worldwide phenomenon by Hwang Dong-hyuk. Fans called it a masterpiece and it was most streamed series on Netflix.
Hwang wanted the fans to ask themselves “How am I living my life?” or “What kind of world am I living in? ” after watching Squid Games. He wanted to teach the fans that money can be both useful and dangerous, as it depends on the people using the money.
The first season shows that the normal and the middle class people wanted more money to create a better life or them and their families by participating in a dead-survival game.
The game was organised by world’s most rich billionares and the purpose of doing this was that the billionaries wanted some fun in their life.
At the last scene of Squid Game, the old person who was the organiser of Squid Game told that when he was young and had no money he just wanted to be make a lot of money, but once he made a lot of money.
Then money was just like normal thing which didn’t excited him anymore. So, he and some of his billionare friends organised a game where the winner would get a large sum of money but he should be alive at the end of the game.

What can we expect from Squid Game Season 2?
In the Global Fan Event at Tudum, Netflix has shared a video of Squid Game Season 2 which reveals some interesting things about the cast and game. We all know that in Squid Game Season 1, the main character Lee Jung-jae’s also known as Seong Gi-hun, player 456 in the series, would be joining for the second round of the death game.
Also some new players will be joining the death game in Squid Game Season 2 as in Season 1 of Squid Game most of the players were dead during the game. Netflix has announced on 17th June that Lee Jung-jae will return as Gi-hun in Season 2, Lee Byung-hun will comeback as the Front Man.
Also, Wi Ha-jun’s Hwang Jun-Jo will also join the death game in season 2. In the ending scene of season 1, the Front Man shout Jun-jo and then he fell from a cliff. The video also showed that some new players will also be joining the Squid Game Season 2 and they are Park Sung-hoon,Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ha-neul, and Yim Si-wan. They all pressed the green button which confirmed that the game is on.
Squid Game Fans will be excited to hear that Gong Yoo will be joining Squid Game Season 2. The director, Ding-hyuk has announced in twitter that there will be whole new games in store for Squid Game Season 2.
He has also mentioned that the big doll in Squid Game Season 2 will be having a boyfriend named Cheol-su.
When will Squid Game Season 2 be released?
There is no specific date for the release of Squid Game Season 2 but it has been announced that it will be release Somewhere In 2024.
