In Monarch: Legacy of Monsters we will come across the story of two siblings who follow their father’s path in order to know the connections that their family had with an organization called Monarch.

While searching for the connections they come across some of the clues which revealed the existence of different kinds of monsters and that lead them to Lee Shaw who was an army officer.

In this series, we will see Officer Lee Shaw from different time zones one from the past and one from the present which will help to unfold hidden truths and will also reveal the motives behind the organization known as Monarch.

The filming of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters started in early 2022. The principal photography started in July 2022 in British Columbia, Canada, and Vancouver. Matt Shakman directed the first two episodes of this series.

Later the series was also shooted in Japan for two weeks. This series was shot with Apple’s 3D camera for Apple Vision Pro which was in a spatial video format.

So, we might expect that it would provide us with a magnificent watching experience throughout the series. Also, Apple has revealed some photos of the series on their official Twitter account Apple TV.

In the first post, we can see Lee Shaw from two different timelines one from the present and another from the past. The captions reads “Now and then”.

Wyatt Russell and Kurt Russell will both play the role of Lee Shaw but from different timelines. Wyatt will play the young version of Lee Shaw from the past and Kurt Russell will play the role of the old version of Lee Shaw which will be in the present.

In another post, we can see that Anna Sawai is looking up at the monster and the monster roaring back at her and the caption reads “In the wake of G-Day, who are the real monsters?”

Apple TV+ has also revealed the total number of episodes in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters which will consist of 10 episodes.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters trailer has been released on Apple TV’s YouTube Channel. At the beginning of the trailer, we see total chaos in San Fransisco where everything is destroyed by big monsters. Then later in the trailer, we see that Cate finds a mysterious scroll and on further investigation, she comes upon Monarch which was a project on monsters. So, in order to find the truth about Monarch and what happened to her father she and two of her friends travel to the place where Monarch was located.

There they found something that really scared them and also some evidence that there were some experiments going on with the monsters. Later in the trailer, we see Lee Shawn from the present and he says that the world is on fire. Towards the end of the trailer, we see a lot of infant monsters who hatched from their shells and started to attack.

Also, we a monster rising from the water which kind of looks like Godzilla. The trailer of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters says everything about the series and now just we have to watch the entire series to reveal the hidden truths about Monarch.

Monarch Legacy of Monsters Release Date on Apple TV+ :

The official release date of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters on Apple TV+ has been announced. It is set to debut on 17 November 2023 with the first two episodes. The remaining episodes will be released on a weekly schedule.
