Hellbound is a dark fantasy K-Drama web series which is directed by Yeon Sang-ho for Netflix. It is originally based on a webtoon which has the same name that is Hellbound. The first season comprises 6 episodes and was released on 19th November 2021.

Hellbound Season 2 Plot :
Towards the final episode of Hellbound Season 1, we have seen that Young Jae and So-hyun tried to protect their newborn baby from the three hell beasts. They tried everything that they possibly could to fight the beasts in order to protect their child.
But they possibly were no match against the hell beasts. So, they put their last effort by surrounding their baby which acted as a shield around the baby. Later we saw that all three were turned down to ashes and the beasts vanished into the nights. Meanwhile, the whole scene was being watched by the residents.
Later a faint cry of a child was heard which resembled that the baby was alive and survived. Dong-wook, a self-claimed messiah, jumped into the scene to complete his decree. As he was about to take his plunge, the hell beasts appeared again which resulted in the death of Dong-Wook.
So, the second season of Hellbound might start with the resurrection of Park Jung-Ja, Kim Sung-Cheol, and those who had been convicted to hell. Min Hey-Jin will continue her fight against The Arrowheads and Saejinrihwe. Saejinrihwe will be opposed by the secret group which is led by a mysterious man.
Also, we might know more about the decree of the child of Young-Jae and So-Hyun who survived as his parents sacrificed their life in order to protect their child. This might open much more about the actual meaning of the decree and the Truth of their ideologies which are apparently torn apart.
Who is new in the cast of Hellbound Season 2?
It was reported in March 2023 that actor Yoo Ah-in has been under investigation undergoing by police in South Korea for illegal issues. After this incident, the official team of Hellbound has confirmed that in Season 2 of Hellbound Yoo Ah-in will be replaced by Kim Sung-cheol.
Netflix has also confirmed that Yang Ik-Joon, Kim Hyun -Joo, Kim Shin-rok, Lee Re, and Lee Dong-hee will be seen playing their respective roles in Season 2 of Hellbound. Meanwhile, Im Sung-Jae, Yang Dong-Geun, Moon Geun-young, and Jo Dong-in have been cast for several roles or guest roles.
